So Khan HASN'T turned Pro, just that we will do in the future.

What is going on here, the BBC Website says nothing of the sort about him signing a pro contract. I take it this news was on the TV.

They read it out on one of the headlines just waiting for the full story.

No official announcement just saying what it says on the website. He says he will turn pro in about a year.

I was talking to a mate (a distant cousin of Khan actually) after the Olympics who said Khan would become a primadona spoilt in the western society neglecting his training while a mexican was working his ass off and when Khan fought this sort of hungry fighter he'd be destroyed. I disagreed but Id side with him now, sports stars are spoilt literally here, hence poorer countries produce the best (mexicans, russians in boxing and brazilians in football)

The ABA should certainly stop all payments hes getting and invest it in developing boxers

Well one thing is for sure Khan will certainly be a World Champion by 2008 but the big question is...will it be WBU, WBO, WBF or perhaps IBC?? Hmmm the plot thickens

Do you remember Audley Harrison? He was that enormous super-heavyweight boxer with the strange hair, decent punch and Olympic medal.

Now he is seen as something of a joke, mercilessly working his way through a progression of fall guys with the durability of match stick men.

At first Khan will become WBU champ after about 10 pro fights, it will follow with 20 defence's of his Champion of the world status, against boxers that even the most harden boxing fan will have never heard of.

They will have amazing records of 20-0 with 18 ko's we will stay up until 2am to watch such great fights. We will be amazed with the onesided action as Khan steem rollers into the rankings.

Khan's camp will bypass the Brittish title because he is far to good for that, he needs to go forward, not backwards will be there response.

A new USA Star will come on to the world scene he will clean up the division and have all the belts (Except WBU) Khan will be on the trail of this US star for 5 years, with FW saying that we will be fighting him in the summer.

Khan gets approached by the Hammeds who say they can get him the title shot. A big court war with FW and the Hammeds follows.

Mean time khan gets to old and retires undefeated and goes into the WBU hall of fame.

One of the UK's finest Welterweights ever has spoken out about Khan.

"The whole of the East End wanted to come out and see me fight in those amateur days," he recalled on Friday.

"But if I was to be like Amir Khan and demand 300 tickets for my friends I'd have been laughed out of town.

"To be champion of your country has to be the greatest challenge you can have as a fighter, and whoever he is, whether he has three fans, 30 fans or 300 fans wanting to watch him doesn't mean he has to get carte blanche.

"It'll damage his reputation if he keeps doing this. Sooner or later, he'll start to become a diva and it's happening already."

Stacey was a fine fighter who has 'been there and done that' at every level of Boxing and it would be a good idea for Khan to take note.

The last few weeks PR wise have been very poor for Amir Khan and whoever is in charge of PR in 'Camp Khan' would be wise to remember that is is very hard to get and maintain a good reputation but much easier to get a bad one.
