Was Bernard Mays any good? I have never heard of him before until now

Hearns decision by that point in their careers. Mays busted up Tommy in the gym when they were young but Mays was a boozer and by 1981, which I think is around the time I saw him, Hearns was better, plus he had a height and big reach advantage. Mays had great skills

Pretty much what giacomino stated, and Alex Ramos said he was hard to deal with in sparring when I asked him a question about Mays years ago.
