Lucas " Big Daddy" Browne stole the show last night

Lucas Browne smashing Junior Fa in under 1 full round was astonishing. I lifted off out of my couch clapping. This may be the best 43 + aged fighter in our era. Beatable, yes, but super tough, we can't argue.

Is this the same Browne that got ko'd by a 40-year-old football player last year?

the last two guys he beat are better than that football player, i still think he threw that fight, he literally threw himself backward on the canvas at one point. needed to spend more time at the wwe academcy. the only other 1st round stoppage gallen has was on a shoulder injury
considering how finished browne looked, his last 2 wins are pretty good, especially this one. earned himself another ko loss or a few
browne vs babic would be fun

Indeed. It's quite intriguing, since Babic fights opened wide like an bar brawler, while Browne still can deliver.

Fa was pathetic
I loved the interview later on when Browne says he never gets the chance to throw his right hand in sparring cos he doesn't want to hurt anyone

How is he passing drugs tests? I bet you he's on the full enchilada and will get busted if he's actually tested properly.

He ain’t back!
First KD was borderline ear/back of the head.
That definitely fvcked Fa up.
2nd KD was also back of the head.

Yes Big Daddy is on a roll now, but he was done in by a pre-fight snack when seen gobbling down a sausage roll before being ko'd in less than a round by a 40 year ex-footballer turned boxer.
Re: Lucas " Big Daddy" Browne stole the show last night
anything hitting the ear is legal...shots looked okay i thought

I doubt there was any testing.
He was amped up to the max after that finish, his coach was trying to calm him down.
I'm not pointing the finger here. But he has past form, and I don't trust anyone who has past form.

Lol.
Whatever.
So what's the excuse for getting stopped in 3 rounds by club-fighter David Allen?

Boxrec has Lucas Browne at #4 in Australian heavyweight rankings. Australia has an enjoyable boxing scene. I'd like to see "Big Daddy" maybe take on these domestic contenders (below).
Is Lucas Browne beatable? Of course. I'm just saying he has real power in his hands and is fun to watch. At 43 years old it's cool to see him still competing at a high level.

The Aussie HW scene has always been poor. Lucas Browne has always been poor as well. His main achievement is in lucky-punching the old and fat Chagaev. Lucas has nothing except power. Having today a decent prospect in Justin Huni is already something big for the Aussie scene. He'll most likely destroy Browne in few rounds. Other mentioned competitors will probably beat him handily too. Fa was just too bad.

Browne won’t fight any of those three unless there is decent money on the table. I’m sure he’s hoping to parlay the Fa win into one last decent payday probably in U.K.

Watching him lose to Whyte I was seriously concerned for his health. Not sure it's at all cool for him to go in with anyone at any sort of high level.
The names you have there I can't comment on.

Browne now has a top 15 WBA ranking courtesy of the WBA Oceania title so I expect he'll be drafted in as an opponent for Trevor Bryan when Don King somehow manages to avoid his fighter facing Daniel Dubois due to some technicality...

First defence for Dubois if he wins. For absolute sure.
