agree, always felt mason's been overrated by british boxing fans too

Mason was poor man's Frank Bruno. Joyce would wreck him.

Mason had power, strength, some decent ability and heart.....so it is not a given.

But treading water for years and years with Lawless never enabled him to learn, step-up and he went into the Lewis fight with a massive win record but actually he was a level behind Lennox.

Both 15-0 and pitched in with each other....it feels like a nice fight.

Joyce would out-box and out-punch Mason to either decision or stop him in late rounds.
