What’s with Boxing in 2022? Arum chooses today to announce Beterbiev’s next fight with Yarde? Perhaps he’s short on days of life and wants to hit the buzzer faster than normal but come on. This fight tonight is not an easy one. Yes, I think that Beterbiev is to be the winner in what could possibly be a destructive KO. But, announce that crap after a win and don’t put added stress on your guy. What? He can’t wait 18 hours to announce a fight that still isn’t considered appointment TV or anything close to a POV tilt. Just shut up promoters until these guys first beat the guy already on the schedule.

I agree with your point, but I saw that allegedly was announcing it earlier also....maybe by agreement, but it certainly doesn't really help matters.

also, top rank promotes both guys, and smith is the wbo champ. yarde is the wbo mandatory--wonder why a deal with bert is done but not with smith

good timing and accuracy, more than pretty much any other ability, or blasting guys out quickly, is something that can portend someone being able to make it up to the high levels i think
carrington here not super flashy or dam! but strikes me as one to keep them eyes on...landing at almost 60 percent

i think the 'main' broadcast in the states just started, so on that broadcast it's talking heads for now, and on some streams we just see empty ring. nova-rammy should start soon
