Tyson Fury is coming to Wolverhampton - Tables cost £5,000

Got to say the higher price tickets are expensive. It makes you think what Tyson is charging the promoter.

One of my many jobs when working for David Haye was to get him appearances at Dinner shows & punditry work on tv, that was prior to the Bellew fights.

The going rate for dinners was £8k -£10k, then depending on where the dinner was and if we were staying overnight I would press night clubs for appearance money.

He got £1.5k-£3k for a couple of hours, plus at least a couple of bottles of vodka and soft drinks, we went through a period where I got him work most weekends.

Tv appearances on a variety of programmes ranged from £1.5k - £5k, I remember Sky always tried to drive the price down the average for them was £1.5k -£3k.

Its always been clear that Fury has chased the money, and who can blame him; he is a professional sportsman after all.

I agree though - I couldn't think of many things worse than listening to him talk his usual boring drivel for an hour or so. He is as fake as his 'Peoples Champion' claim

I like him and always watch his fights but I wouldn't pay to see anyone doing this after dinner stuff.

I doubt he’s contracted to do these shows. I’d imagine he probably enjoys them, talks shit for an hour or so (which is something he loves to do), it gives him something to do and gets paid as well.

There is no way I'd go, but the current EBay cost of a Tyson signed glove is about £250.

Obviously if he spends the next 10 years signing lots of them, the value will fall, but a net £250 to have a chat and a photo with Fury is not bad value.

I doubt any seat is £500. As Loynesy said the glove is £250 on Ebay although you can get one for £200 straight from Goldstar. Or wait for the free book signing.

The tables for 10 are going for £5k plus booking fee. They might get some added extras but they’ll not be sitting until someone pays the £500 a piece.

Tyson could legitimately be a politician. When asked about his pledge to give his purse to charity he just says that what he does with his money is his business and no one else’s. It’s tough to argue with and no one pushes him further.
