Fletcher's a cruiser, not a LHW. Think I read he's 6'7, has there ever been a cruiserweight world champion as tall?

Don’t think so. Weirdly they cease to be effective beyond 6ft5.

I’d prefer to watch Kyrgios Tsitsipas but not on normal TV.

“21 pro contests on his record”
Ffs love it when announcers are embarrassed to reveal fighters’ records.

It’s quite common these days. I mentioned it happening yesterday in the “unpopular opinions” thread.
MC’s should be saying their records then trying to stifle a laugh afterwards. Fighters like Laskowksi; get in the bin and out the sport.

When you get to 3-0 you shouldn’t be allowed to fight anyone with a losing record unless you are coming off a Canelo v Khan KO.

By that logic, George Fox (and others) could’ve avoided Sokolowski and just knocked over five 1-0/2-1/3-2 Croatian binmen instead …

Don’t really care about Fox or Soko tbh. For every 1000 mismatches like Turner/Lask that I’m currently watching you’ll get a freak like that. By logic… to me it’s not worth it.
And I would definitely have a rule that you can’t just import Croatian bin men with marginal winning records.
I’ve said it before. I’d have a world rankings system where you cannot fight someone ranked 50 places either side of you.
Mismatches kill this already niche sport.
Turner 60/54 btw
