Heavyweights: Andy Ruiz vs. John Ruiz

12 Rounds Heavyweight Bout
Either John jabbed, threw combinations and grabbed Andy to take a decision or would either Andy nailed Johnny with his power punches off the ropes to take a decision or knock him out in late rounds. What do you guys think and who do you got?

If the Huggin' Man wasn't allowed to hold excessively, like it happened in the majority of his significant fights, the Fat Man would batter him. Johnny was a poor boxer, slow and clumsy. Andy can at least throw punches properly, plus he has decent handspeed and power.

John was not a bad boxer. He adopted the safety first approach after the Ike fight where he was destroyed. That is when he started the hugging non stop.
John could win this.

You mean destroyed by Tua, not Ike? Well, I can't see pre-Tua version of Johnny doing this. Only if he outhugged Andy. He was quite bad as a boxer, not completelly sh!tty, but very limited.

John is the only heavyweight belt holder to out hold Wlad.
If I ever wanted to cure insomnia I would picture Ruiz vs Wlad for 12 rounds. Damn can you imagine how boring that would be?
