Is Hasim Rahman Jr an accomplished boxer? Please say he is

I'm pinin' to see Jake KO'd. PLEASE say Rahman's skills in the ring are as good as his ability to hang with Jake at the presser.

Nothing I'd like more than to see his first foray into the ring with a genuine boxer is an embarrassing one.

Can someone give me confidence that the Scam that is Jake Paul is about to fold?

he was a top 5 amateur in the usa, at least as a junior. had a solid am career.

obviously hasnt done much as a pro, but he's at least acutally had 13 pro fights.........his only loss he was up 4-0 on all the cards.

also way bigger than jp

legit step up for boxing's superstar :bag:

He is capable to demolish Paul. But i think fight will be fixed. But, if Paul can defeat this guy in real boxing match, i will be impressed

This is a set up. Yes Rock Jr. is a very credible boxer. But they are going to drain him down in weight and then use that as the excuse for why JP stopped him. 99.9% Rock Jr. is on the take here IMO. JP would not fight someone bigger and better than he is without some kind of deal made ahead of time.

I'm still hoping that Rock Jr. double crosses him and beats the stuffing out of him like he would in any real fight with JP that was on the level.

They sparred together in the past for one of Jake's fights, that's not a great sign for the legitimacy of this fight. For a normal fight not a big red flag but in this case it is.

I would say if Rahman doesn't win it's fairly sus

He's going to take a dive. While a real fight would mean Jake is legit as hell, they're best friends supposedly. Going to be like the Malik Scott/Wilder fight, winking and all.

he fought the Morrison boy like one would spar an absolute beginner, if ur a cocky asshole on top of that.

hands by the side, nonchalantly circling, picking shots, either loading up on single winged in body shots or sloppily putting together quick, slappy combos, constantly showing off.

no real stance, barely any head movement apart from the the cocky 'Roy Jones' like exaggerated looking for a shot type of shit.

Yes
If Paul beats him it shows what a dire state boxing is in, that a youtube guy can beat an actual experienced fighter

jake can't box for shit.

all he does is clinch like a spastic, while he hecticly jerks around his head and whacks in those stakkato dirty, short little 'in clinch' punches to the side of the body and the back of the head. all that in a state of borderline hysteria.

after the ref separates the 'boxers' chubby jake loads up on a single right hand or basic one two and if he gets hit back instantly grabs his opponent and forces the next spastic clinch shit show.

if the fight isn't a fixed corrupt shit show, it definitely gonna be a shit show, one way or the other, paul can't box for shits.

Rahman is not all that. In his pro career he has faced a string of very low level guys and Morrison. Against Morrison he was up on the cards sure, but looked sloppy as hell. It wasn't some lucky Hail Mary shot that ko'ed him either, he looked shaky as hell and was taking good shots in every round from the very crude and limited Morrison. His weight has also been fluctuating wildly which suggest that he isn't very serious in training and now he'll have to drain down to 200 lbs. I wouldn't be surprised if he lost a in legit fight against Paul, nor would I be surprised if the fix was in and they did 8 messy rounds of sparring with Paul getting the decision.

how random, rude, absolutely uninformed & 100 percent nonsensical can a comparison be?
please, don't insult the 'quiet man' like that.

rahman should easily beat chubby jake without even breaking a sweat.

by simply boxing, which paul can't do.

paul can throw a loaded up right hand bomb and his reaction to incoming punches is borderline freak out and force his trademark 'nonstop spastic clinches' or whatever the fornicate he's doing in there? 'boxing' it's not.

Massive step up for Jake Paul, he has never boxed anyone who has had a boxing match before let alone won one.
I would back Rahman all day long in this, except there is no way Rahman has been employed to win this one. Rahman knows the score otherwise he would never have been offered this.

Rahman is making out that he’s not been offered much money for this, presumably that is to make people believe that the result has not already been decided. I’m sure he’s getting plenty to make Jake look good…

I think Rahman knows he's up there in age and likely isn't going to be fighting for a world title any time so he's going to make Paul look good and get life changing money in the process

Ringside footage shows Hasim Rahman Jr viciously knocked out, despite being scheduled as Logan Paul’s back-up opponent if Dillon Danis pulls out

Hasim Rahman Jr was brutally knocked out by Conje Nathan on Tuesday night.

The heavyweight boxer, son of former world champion Hasim Rahman Sr, is currently competing in unique boxing format Team Combat League.

In the second Team Combat League semi-final on Saturday night, the New York Attitude defeated the DC Destroyers.

Nathan was one of the boxers representing the New York Attitude, while Rahman Jr represented the DC Destroyers.

When they stepped into the ring together, Nathan nailed Rahman Jr with a series of left hooks which viciously knocked him down and forced the referee to stop the contest.

Rahman Jr is scheduled to be the back-up opponent to fight Logan Paul on October 14, if Dillon Danis pulls out.

And he has insisted that, despite this KO, will still be ready to go again in two months’ time if called upon.

“Alhamdulillah I’m good,” Rahman Jr said after his loss.

“Thank you all for the love and support! I didn’t ever have to put on a pair of gloves and get in the ring but I did it and I’m gonna keep doing it.

“The hate is appreciated too. I’ll be back soon I’m a soldier, no more heavyweights.

“During my 30 day suspension, I’m going to be taking a break from my social media platforms as well. Stay blessed.

“Time to focus on my salat, my mental health, my weight, and my family. Keep me in your prayers.

“Before I go, Logan better pray Dillon shows up, I’ll still be on weight and ready to welcome him to Misfits.”
