Calzaghe needs to stop moaning and start boxing!

Just read some of Joe Calzaghe's comments on Bernard Hopkins on secondsout.com

Clazaghe says Bernard Hopkins should not be ranked NO.1 in the world, pound-4-pound best. Joe also reckons he would knock Hopkins out if they fought.

Joe Calzaghe must be having a laugh, surely. Joe, 'you can't be serious'. Hopkins would beat Calzaghe with ease. Joe has not fought the calibre of opposition Hopkins has faced.

I would not mind seeing Calzaghe vs Carl Froch. If Froch were to win, I would not see it ias an upset.

At this rate, Joe stands a better chance of getting into the Comedy Hall of Fame before getting into the Boxing Hall of Fame.

Very bad matchup for Eastman, Calzaghe throws lots of shots and works hard every minute of every round whereas Eastman coasts through fights doing as little as possible. No way can Eastman win that.

No I agree, plus he's moving up in weight against a guy who is probably a LH in reality by now, who has knocked out genuine SM's whereas Eastman struggles to stop middleweights. big difference in workrate, punching power and aggression.

What a kick in the bollocks for Magee, WBO obviously don't rate his chances if they are already organising Calzaghe's next defence.

Also the minimum acceptable bid is $300,000. Based on their last meeting, that is $2,679 per second

Eastman doesn't seem to struggle that much in stopping middleweights considering he has KO'd 34 opponents in his 40 wins. Yes, he failed to KO Hopkins or Joppy but Hopkins has never been KO'd and only Trinidad managed to stop Joppy. Neither Hopkins nor Taylor could stop Joppy. In saying that, Eastman does not have one punch KO power.

Eastman has never KO'd an opponent though, look at his record, they are ALL TKO's. Sorry he has 1 clean KO, against alan Duckworth, wonder if he's any relation to Jack and Vera?

regarding a Universum press release they canceled the planned Veit-fight in order to negotiate with allegedly FW for a Calzaghe-rematch. Instead of it Ulrich-Barney is on. I think the 3rd time now. I hope Ulrich won´t get the flu for the 4th time just before the fight     It will be his last chance. he was just before get kicked out by Kohl.
