I personally do not believe that Skelton would be a match for any of the top heavyweights, despite them being as bad as they are. He looks exhausted after the first round of his fights and doesn't appear to have too much power. I do however admire his ambitions, the same cannot be said for Fraudley.

Well, I think Skelton's a very ugly fighter to watch (style-wise that is). But he's uncompromising, doesn't stop coming and I think, if he just thought a bit and stopped smothering his work so much, we'd see a better fighter. For a guy who's only been in the game for two years and you look at his record, he's a revelation, especially when you see someone with Danny William's natural ability loitering about for years and Audley 'They call me Chocolate, because I could eat myself' Harrison, well, to be blunt, disappearing up his own backside.
I'd give Skelton a very good chance of beating Danny Williams. In fact, I think he'll chase him out of the ring (and I hate to say this because I really did think Danny was a top-drawer fighter waiting to happen, way before he beat Tyson).
Danny's not very quick on his feet and I think Skelton's the last guy you want in front of you after the kind of hammering he took against Klitschko.
I mean, what was Danny doing losing to Michael Sprott?!!! Yet Skelton just took him out to sea and drowned him with his desire to win.

No - Skelton is not going to be a top-drawer heavy - but he's an example to those with ability who don't make the most of it. He's a real fighter with a lot of guts.

As far as Brit Heavyweights go, Skelton is the man who beat the man. He beat Sprott who had beaten (twice but for disgraceful tactics from Williams) Danny twice.

So if Williams can get a shot then why not Skelton? I know Williams got the win over a washed up Tyson but that isn't SKelton's fault.

And I'd pick Skelton to beat Williams.

Man that fight would be ugly, Skelton would just duck his head and bury himself in Klitschko's stomach. However he would be throwing shots at least on the inside particuarly into Klitschko's stomach, in fact i think he would probably make a better fist of it than Williams did.

Fair enough but it wasn't really my point anyway, just that if Williams can fight Vitali then Skelton doing so isn't inconceivable and certainly not a LMFAO

People talk about Vitali being so "awkward" and I sometimes wonder whether that's because he's been able to apply some tricks from his kickboxing days that most boxers have never seen before (bearing in mind I know fornicate all about kickboxing). So, in that regard a fight with Skelton or another former kickboxer might be quite interesting.
Just a thought.

anyway post rant, it sa real 50 50 fight for me, it depends how Danny comes in he needs to be lighter and faster to use his boxing skills.
