Fascinating interview with Bobby Crabtree

For all the heavy defeats, Crabtree is somehow in much better shape, physically and neurologically, than many retired world class fighters who didn't suffer anywhere near as many beatings as Bobby did.
Really good read, and interesting to note another experienced pug rating Berbick as the strongest man he fought.

that writer must be a f@cking giant if bobby's really 6'2
always satisfying watching the ipitan ko, love when a trial horse folds a guy with a padded record. these are the interviews with value, where it's not a guy we've all heard or read speak a zillion times already

Thanks for sharing I'm reminded of Jerry Halstead, who I ended up being friends with after interviewing him, and it was kind of sad when he said: "Of the four Oklahoma boys the only ones left are me and Crabtree," because part of the interview was talking about how Jerry started out under the O'Grady family and how he was the chief sparring partner of Monte Masters (who died of AIDS) and how Tommy Morrison had also died of AIDS.
