Would have been a great matchup. Would have been very competitive and could have gone either way.

If Benvenuti out-boxes Turpin from long range behind his left jabs, right hands and left hooks he would decision him. However, if Turpin caught Benvenuti off the ropes or corner with body punches, he would either decision or stop him late.
