Not a specific fight… but how do you think tua would go in 2022?
I can’t help but be sad there’s no “tua like” heavyweights right now, is that just bad luck, or would modern heavyweights have the answers for him and that’s why it doesn’t exist.

should do pretty well, lose to fury and usyk , who have bad sstyles for him. could lose to aj and wilder depending on how they box. should beat nearly all the rest, though of course tua could underperform.
but i imagine him brutally splatting someone like whyte

That’s kinda what I think, would settle in at about 5th in the world and make millions with a fan friendly style.
Which makes me wonder why no one has replaced/replicated him (even at a lower level).. Plenty of toughhh as fornicate, 5”10-6”1 Samoans/Tongans. I know most go into rugby, but surly some would be looking at those heavyweight dollars.
Mark hunt was tua like, guess that’s one stolen to mma… but yea surprisingly rare.

It'll be the same like in his times, he would be a boogeyman top fighter, but he would lose to the very best like Fury and Usyk.
I can also see the likes of Joshua and Parker outboxing him, but against those Tua's puncher's chance would be real. Actually, the likes of Whyte, Ortiz, Pulev and Ruiz would be problematic for David too, but he would very likely KO them eventually.
Also, Joyce would be too much for Tua. He can box and he takes punches extremely well.

Fair, although I think Joyce would be a hard one to pick. I love Joyce and would have him favourite due to size, but he is easy to hit. Sure he has taken some decent shots, but how many tua left hooks on the Chin can anyone take clean…

The aggressive Tua would beat anyone. The one just waited around trying to land the perfect left hook would lose to a few guys.
