GGG on Canelo:“I'm sure he's going to take it more seriously than when he faced Bivol"

“I'm sure he's going to take it more seriously than when he faced Bivol. Against Bivol he was not taking it very seriously,” said Golovkin to The Los Angeles Times.

“To be honest, I wasn't paying much attention, I wasn't listening,” Golovkin said. “With his attitude he proved to be like someone of a lower level… he probably showed his true face. I was disappointed because he hasn't grown as a professional athlete."

I guess Canelo is mad that he has to give GGG another big payday. Probably GGG's biggest payday. lol Also I think GGG's toughness, jab and heavy hands are like a pain in the ass for Canelo.

We have to admit that for a foreign fighter from a country like Kazahstan, Golovkin learned pretty damn well how to sell himself as a fighter. I mean US fighters like Charlos, Spence, Crawford, Tank or Haney don't make the M's that GGG is making.

They don't because they're just not good enough to take on all comers anywhere the way GGG did. The way he had to, coming from the outside.

If Spence gets the Crawford fight and then despatches him convincingly he could yet be the next global US superstar.

He's the only one I feel who is still operating well within his comfort zone. He has huge talent no doubt, but huge talent like that needs to be tested.

So far he's won everything by barely breaking sweat. It's almost as if he's become world champion accidentally whilst he was thinking of other things.

Right now, there's no telling just how good he could be if he wants to be.

GGG and Canelo are very exciting fighters to watch. They could take and give hard punches.
