Buchanan wasn't a huge hitter, a prime Paul had an excellent chin and fought bigger punches than Buchanan. Paul's issue in his prime is that he turned fights where he should have boxed more into back and forth firefights, taking more punishment than he needed to. (which is why he was shot after the Haugen fight). Buchanan would outbox him and outpoint him. I don't see a knockout or even a knock down by either guy.
