I know it's a sideshow filler but Filip is pretty decent and imo Zhang untested. Could well be a snore fest but how do people see it going?

Doesn't go past round 5. Who wins is a different story though...

be shocked if its a snorefest. zhang is a plodder but is big and can fornicating whack. Hrgovic was technical, but he seems to of traded that for backing his chin and clubbing in right hands.

orth vs southpaw is lways a bit of a risk, but i expect plenty of clean back hands to be landing, and someone likely taking a nap.

If you fancy Zhang really early (inside 4) you can get some pretty big odds!

This could be the fight of the night, and the winner could meet the winner of Usyk v Joshua.

Zhang certainly looked good in the stare down.

Hrgovic had to step up at some point, and this is that point.

I'm not a great tipster but can't see past Hrgovic in this one.

Hrgovic wins easily. Tko in the mid rounds, he blew away fighters in the WSB, and was robed of a gold medal in the Olympics. He has blown away his professional competition too and if your honest has opponents for his fist 15 fights is better than Tyson's, Lewis, Klitschko, or Wilder and better than Fury's too! He fights today. I think he's the next big thing which means two things. 1 ) He gets a world title shot and 2 ) His fans and haters alike will be busy...because he's the next big thing in heavyweight boxing.

by the time mike tyson had been pro for as long as hrg has, mike had already won 10 world title fights

Bit harsh on Zhang, he was clearly the better boxer, but in the end the younger and better conditioned fighter got the decision.


This was just the kind of fight that Hrgovic needed.

He'd had it far too easy until now.

This will certainly make him think al little as there were times in there when he looked like he might even walk away.

On the other hand the really big money is now within his reach.

As for Zhang, there's no getting away from the fact that you need to train for 12 rounds. That is clearly not easy when your pushing 40 and didn't turn pro til your mid 30s.

I can't imagine anyone will be signing up to fight Zhang. That power he showed was ridiculous. Very strong puncher. Hrgovic was concussed. Imo, they should've stopped it when he kept turning his back.

If Zhang takes some underdog fights from now on he can definitely cause an upset. Not sure he has the time to work his way up to another eliminator.

i agree, clearly a limited fighter, an older guy too, but the power is serious. when forrest was dropped in that fight he had that shocked look of 'wtf was thaat??' like he'd never felt anything like it. now hrg was badly hurt in this one and had the same look

vs guys hrg's level or below....he's major threat. he can be in some interesting fights

I had it 114-113 for Hrgovic, as some one said this was the fight he needed, too many soft fights up to this.
Even if he lost this fight , it was what he needed to season him for the next level..

I was too. He had some odd fights that looked scripted. Dude must really hit like a damn truck, though. That power is legit. I'm a believer. He'd be a great match-up for Joshua or Parker.
