Fury fan but for some reason I'd love Usyk to win.

Having said that, surely Fury would win this one. Far too big and unlike Joshua he would take full advantage of his size advantages.

Would love to be proved wrong.

Tyson Fury, no doubt. Also quite easely.

Tyson will stipulate like a 15ft ring.

This would be a truly awful fight. God knows who would win. I lean Usyk. The buildup would be great though, two huge characters out of the ring.

I think Fury will win fairly comfortably. Usyk doesn't punch hard enough and Fury's size and weight will cause Usyk problems. Fury isn't a stationary target like AJ

is fury going to try to maul usyk, or try to box him at range? he usually chooses one approach and sticks pretty much to it, so i dont see him going in and out of styles

I honestly have no idea what Usyk vs Fury would look like. Part of me thinks that it would be particularly awkward for Fury - he's looked sloppy against smaller guys in the past.

he's looked very sloppy vs smaller guys and guys with speed and mobility. a lot of people just assume, oh theyre both skilled and fury's much bigger, fury wins handily. but the track record is that fury has more problems with usyk's type than you'd expect

that said i do lean fury, but i think it would be a close fight

If Usyk beats Fury, where does this out him all time amongst the big guys?

Likewise for Fury, where would it put him?

Brings Usyk closer to Holyfield. But still behind.

Fury is too big and hes fast as well so I cant see Usyk winning. Fury can fight southpaw too if he chooses to. I believe Fury is the only man who can beat Usyk and knock him out too.

Fury in a dull fight.

Usyk has superior skills to Fury .. but Fury has a huge size advantages that he knows how to use to great effect.
Neither man is likely to KO the other so it'll go to points almost certainly.
It's likely to be a horrible fight to watch because Fury will look to grab, hold, and lay on Usyk to wear him down .. whilst Usyk will look to steal rounds to avoid Fury using his weight advantage.

Fury would justifiably start clear favourite simply because of the size advantages - but I'd put money on Usyk having the skills to find the win.

The Gypsy King is better than Usyk in boxing and also he can impose a rought fight on anyone, so Usyk's chances are miserable.

One thing is for sure it is not going to be a pretty fight. It is going to be ugly and it is going to be dull and boring at times. When it's not a battle of the jabs it's going to be Fury bulldozing the Ukrainian into the ropes and leaning all his weight on him and mauling him with hooks and uppercuts.

However I do expect Fury to come in more trim. He might even be in the high 250s. Because Fury is going to have to utilize the jab every bit as much as he did with Klitschko, and he's going to have to be somewhat light on his feet to be out of Usyk's range --- always half a step back, catching the Ukrainian in the chest with double and triple jabs.

I also expect the fight to happen in December not in the spring of next year. One thing I know about Fury and Usyk is that they are both men who want to get down the business rather than perpetually being in promotional nonsense.

Usyk is definitely a better boxer than Fury.

Agreed, his skills are incredible. Fury is obviously skilled himself but can also be sloppy and careless. Usyk is capable of outmanoeuvring him regardless of size.

Fury is an exceptional boxer for a man of his size but he is still levels below Usyk in terms of skillset. His grizzly strength, sheer size and tenacity even things out a lot, though, it's a great match. Fury starts favourite but I'm not making a prediction yet.

Fury can switch hit, fight inside, box at range, wrestle and maul, keep it clean or take it to the street, feint, measure, frame, shift, and do it all instinctively and naturally. He's also naturally a mean bastard, despite his protestations that he's a kindly God fearing family man.

That said, he has his vulnerabilities: he can be hurt, he can be lazy, he can leave himself open: his wonky personality aligns itself with his boxing style. He's all over the place, and that's why he beats people.

Usyk, by contrast, has fluidity, poise, grace, timing, accuracy, speed... Have you ever seen him genuinely hurt? I've seen him bothered. I've seen him shut down offensively through being pressured (round 9 last night and the early Chisora rounds come to mind)but I've not seen him properly in trouble.

Both are exceptionally talented big men and both are natural, instinctive fighters.

It's a fascinating fight.

I think most people who watched Wilder-Fury 2 know that he can whack to the body. Usyk clearly don't like it there. I'm sure Fury could get those body shots off consistently in a way AJ couldn't.

Like I said, he's pretty much got it all. Especially now he's 'Kronk' Fury.

He's very very good, Micky. He's just an erratic bigmouth who talks too much. It's nice that you have a favourite fighter but you've got to admit the bloke is incredibly annoying.

I also think Usyk will bring something special for him that we haven't seen yet.

When Tyson Fury first came on the scene he threw an awful lot of body shots and uppercuts, and then slowly but surely he became a stylist and mover constantly popping the jab. Then he became a switch hitter. And then of course he tweaked his style again going Kronk. He's had at least four or five different style changes over time. But what people fail to see is that Fury does have a rather large tool box to work with and unlike most heavyweights out there he is very adaptable--- and that is going to be the key to defeating Usyk more than anything else.
