Very early days, but not impressed with Frankie Stringer's performance. Supposed amateur star but looked decidedly average.

Thought Stringer was all right ? :maybe:
He's 21 and 3-0, what was worrying you Butch ?

Azeez vs Pitters should be good... :box:

What does it say about the British title and boxing events today that this fight's on now.

Yep Skanksta, it's early days but didn't see star quality. I'll check back in when he's had 10 fights.

Azeez is a firm favourite. He will has his work cutout looking good against Pitters tonight.

Nothing bad.
They know it'll probably be a good fight and it's for a meaningful title. That's why it's on the free-to-air.
It's a good thing.

Yeh, they usually give us a decent fight on free.

It should really be held by one of Yarde, Buatsi, Smith or Johnson and so wouldn't be on at this time - but the British title seems to hold little value sadly.

Azeez needs to crank up the pressure. Pitters isn't in control but, Dan doesn't want this being a close fight and having to put in a late charge.

Azeez is better than this, but Pitters is hard to look good against.

I wouldn't want to rely on the judges when the likes of Terry O'Connor is one of them !

It's more the opportunity to show what a solid and entertaining fighter Dan is. That was always going to be a tough ask against Pitters.

Well it should, but it isn't.
It's still valued, but it's a division 2 title.

Shak came back in to it and he's such an octopus I gave him 4 rounds.

Hard to look against and a bit "what you like" - I liked Azeez's power and spite over Shak's outside work.

Let's see....

Having seen almost all of Azeez's fights, that was the only time I've felt disappointed with him...but that has everything to do with Pitters' awkwardness and clinching (and some half decent boxing too).

Azeez was more effective overall, but will that be reflected in the scoring. Pitters' work was probably more noticable.

All 3 to Azeez. A combination of close and wide.
