Corrales edges this one in a tough fight.

I would have picked Brian Mitchell by decision or late knockout. This was a champion that respected the sport of boxing. He was always in shape for all his bouts. And took every opponent seriously. Too bad that he fought in an era where his country of South Africa was deemed as an inhuman nation because of the apartheid in the 80s decade before Nelson Mandela took over.

Diego Corrales was more talented, but Mitchell was much more disciplined. Too bad that Mitchell didn't become a boxing star.
