It's very early in his career but what are the board's thoughts on Clarke?

I first saw him a couple of years ago in the semi finals of the commonwealth games against David Nyika from NZ. It was razor close, but at the time I thought that Clarke would make a good pro.
Nyika really chin checked him several times and Clarke just came back, it was impressive because Nyika can generate a lot of leverage on his shots.
Unfortunately I feel he has started his pro career a little bit late.
I think he has some potential for sure.

Total waste of time.
Clarke went razor close with a two time Commonwealth gold medalist.
That to me puts him as ready for a decent opponent straight away.

An exciting fighter who needs to be moved along fairly quickly.

I thought he looked great on debut but his legs wobbled after getting caught in his second fight and it seemingly happened again, albeit to a lesser extent, on Saturday. Offensively he looks good.

Both times he recovered very quickly but it’s not a good sign given who he’s fighting. They’re keeping him relatively active which is good but should be looking at English title level in the early part of next year. Cruiser has plenty of depth in the U.K. so lots of good fights can be made. I’d keep him away from the bigger punchers for a while though until he tightens up his defence.
