One of the true greatest boxers pound per pound of all-time.

May he rest in peace.

His boxing record is one of the best. Arguably, Eder Jofre is the greatest Bantamweight boxer of all-time.

I love him. Truly a wonderful person and incredible fighter. He told me a year ago "I am the happiest person in the world." What more can you ask for out of life?

Fluently, Portuguese and Spanish. In the 60's, he could speak enough English to get by but lost it over time.

I watched a great Michael Nunn interview where he was very complimentary about Eder and he died the day after. Sad, but inevitable news.

Mike absolutely loves Jofre and his two children. I introduced them and he just loved being around him and play fighting with Eder. Can you me to the interview? I assume it was one when Eder was here in LA last October? Me and a friend put Nunn on to Jofre's fights and he studied him and just said, "He was a monster. A MONSTER!"

Yeah, for someone who spent so long in prison, he has a great attitude. One of my favourite boxers ever,
