Certainly not paying 28 quid for it. Wouldn’t turn down a free stream if someone sends me a link tho.

Don’t agree with it going ahead. Think it makes a mockery of the sport but il still be watching as I think Benns getting mullered

I was looking forward to it and was happy to pay the £28. Now at best, I will stream it.

Can I ask why?
i thought it was a bullsh1t matchup with the weight, the recent shenanigans are fairly predictable (of *course* Benn was going to juice himself to fvck rather than being tthe smaller man, of *course* CEJ would try to use that to change the weight clauses, or if it had never happened come in heavy and paid the fines for it, etc)
I've not followed Benn's career at all and, having followed it, was never all that taken with CEJ's. it was a 'meh' fight announcement to me the moment I heard it.

100% this. It was everything wrong with boxing.
Mismatched weights
Hyped boxers
Weight draining
Catch weights
Rehydration clauses
PPV
No title
Trading on names of fathers
Bullshite rivalry
Better fights out there for both
PEDS
Plastic rivalry
This isn’t boxing, it’s a show pony with hangers on and hype merchants all crawling over each other for their share. Feck the lot of them

If this ends the current obsession with catch weights and rehydration clauses then it will have been worth it.
Shame for the under card fighters, really needs to be insurance in place for those guys in events such as this so they get some recompense.
