Its gonna televised by HBO as well so audley will have to get in with a decent opponent. If he wins he might get put in with peter who I believe audley wud beat as peter is an overrated plodder

Harrison should be fighting the likes of Samuel Peter now, not appearing on his undercard.

In fairness, Audley has lost about a year of his career or more due to injury, and wasted several months wrangling with allegedly. He's probably only had 3 full years.

He has to appear on the undercard to rebuild his profile, but at least it's on a decent show headlining prospects, he should get good exposure, provided of course he wins.

James, whilst i cannot say with any certainty, if Audley had applied himself properly as a professional boxer he wouldnt have had half the injuries....

The shoulder/chest injury was caused doing a stupid "superstars" event... could have easily been avoided if he wasnt so obsessed at the time with being seen everywhere....

He is also a lazy trainer who probably leaves everything to the last minute therefore putting extra stress on the body, if he stayed in decent shape all the time he wouldnt have had half the problems....

Sam would knock Peter out. BTW Sam looked not that fat in the Bakhtov-fight. i think he takes it a bit more seriuos because he wants to fight for the championship this year.

Well he made up for it in the Cley-Bey fight where he was back to his usual rotund self. I agree with knockout, the time has come where Audley must decide whether he wants to be a Boxer or a D list celebrity...it's either a week on the Farm with Rebecca Loos or a fight with a decent Heavyweight :D

Sam had a liitle bit too much of that christmas goose

On the other hand he didn´t take Clay-Bey serious. he should fight a top ten US guy next before he fights Vitali. The Wbc would even rank him between #2-4 in the February rankings.

I have read that Audley Harrison suffered many injuries as an amater as well. Wether this is through poor training habits or lack of physical 'toughness' I have no idea.

maybe he does lack physical toughness, but proper diet/nutrition, proper sleep, proper training all reduce the risk of injury!!!!

Does Kostya Tyuzu have poor training habits and lack of physical toughness too. Sometimes u can train too hard. All fighters damage their hands time to time too

I think beside his injuries he has a problem with the reality. in professional boxing it doesn´t count whether you are Olympic Champion or out of a ghetto. you have to work hard and you need a good promoter and a heart like a lion.. Harrison behaves like a Lennox Lewis but hasn´t reached anything but an alphabet soup title. that´s his problem. he thinks he is a top ten boxer but evn hasn´t beat a top 100 fighter. plus no promoter and no heart. and now he is too old.

Ugh.... keep dreaming, "pickle-breath".... I seriously doubt Sam would put a dent on Peters noggin, even though Sam does punch pretty good. Peter has a head of steel!! And has anvils for hands!! It would be best for Sam to box Peter, not to slug it out with him.
