Although it's never going to happen, who would you have winning it if this happened in 2023?

That's the problem with boxing as a whole, but definitely that division. They all want a lot more than they are worth just to prove they are better than anyone else, doesn't make a lot of sense. If they all agree to 50/50 purses then there should be no complaints if they were reasonable...

How about they all agree..
Every fight is PPV. They can charge what they want $75 or so..
Split the PPV revenue 50-50..
Then they’re getting paid what they’re worth.

The guy who is yet to fight at 135 suggesting a Super Six style tournament. Lol! Bet his first opponent isn't even a top 10 fighter.
Haney won't be at 135 for long enough.
Tank wins.

It's a great idea, it always was, but the sense of entitlement displayed here is disgusting.
50/50 is the way to go. If you want more money then try to win to progress into the next round.
Simples.

Amen on that !
Kamboses would Totally And Completely be The Weakest Link amongst this Possible LW Tournament.
I Think that even "Ryan Garcia" would be Legit Too Much for George. And would likely Tko The Aussie Brawler.
Definitely PitBull would be at least Somewhat high-risk for any of these other Top LW's.

Cute idea. Ryan Garcia may move to 140. The remaining guys can have a tournament of sort just by fighting each other.
Stevenson was made for this though. I have no doubt about that. He is going to be a big star.

He isn't boring. He was running into the crowd looking to brawl members of the public a couple of fights back in Vegas.
He doesn't have talk like Tank or Garcia, but he can Garner interest for his fights.
He'll probably fight somebody like Rolly or Linares next.
He knows damn well that the likes of Loma, Haney and Tank won't be around long enough at 135 for a Super Six.

It would be a fine tournament, but several of the match-ups have already occurred. And, unfortunately, lightweights don't make quite the sort of money that Shakur is hoping for. Even the winner of a tournament like this may not be much of a cash cow, even if he rose to #1 p4p, just as we've seen with Andre Ward (Ward - Kovalev 1 and 2 drew 160k and 130k).
If you really want to create a cash cow, you need to hop on the undercard of Alvarez and Fury events and spend money on commercial ads.

It frustrates me that Lomachenko and Davis never fought.

I see a bunch of young guys and one 34 year old so when is someone going to 'Teofimo' Loma again? Might not be ready or maybe they're about to.

Before Shak spouts off, he should get a win at the weight, that he isn't officially at yet. I would, however, pick him to be in the top 2 or 3 for sure.

That's the only thing about Davis that frustrates you?
Alleged 3 weight world champion and PPV starTank Davis with a resume shallower than a pre schoolers paddling pool?

Why 6 Why not 8 so whoever wins has to win 3 fights? With 6 fighters, 2 Fighters will get have a huge advantage in having to win 1 less fight.
