I hadn't heard of this guy before, but just stumbled across him.

There's loads of Thai fighters that fight week in, week out and amass huge amounts of fights with incredible win %, but has anyone got this guy beat?

thomas patrick ward for unbeaten in 34 is very padded, though obviously there are dudes who've fought much worse

Maybe not in terms of quantity, but in terms of quality, this is the one that always stood out for me. Silvens was 23-0 with one decision before he somewhat stepped up his opposition. His opponents' records in his first 23 fights were 26-249 with 17 of those guys never having won a fight. I don't think he ever cracked the Boxrec top 300, which at 23-0 at heavyweight is pretty difficult to somehow not achieve.

Ricardo Moreno had an extremely padded record. Great KO percentage, but his opposition was about as bad as it gets.

If you count the first 30 fights of anyone's career with at least that many fights, Canelo is #1 for padding his record. After that he made it well known to fight bliwn up has beens for another 10 fights.

He was also 20-0 by the time he was 18. Nobody has faced world level savages in the pro ranks at 17.

He has only 1 victory over an opponent with a Winning Record.

Yes I remember reading it in KO MAGAZINE years ago because it was this guy with a record of four wins and five losses I think who knocked out Saleem. As for Butterbean I believe it was Mitch Rose that was the guy who stopped him, and I think Rose had like one win and nine losses something like that.

I read it in the back of one of my Ring Mag's back in the day too.

They used to have a monthly award that they'd hand out to the guy that pulled off that month's biggest upset. I think that's where it was handed out.

I don't even remember what they used to call that award.

It's always fun to see things like that happen in person though. At a live card in Michigan there was some kid who was 0-1-1 I wanna say up against a 5-0 arab kid, and the 0-1-1 kid won a narrow decision. I remember him jumping up in the air like he'd just Won the World TItle

It made me and Andrew happy for the guy. It was his little Rocky moment.

unbeaten in 34 fights and only ranked #50 in the world. at 33-0-1 never won higher than british title level. so many useless fights on his record

the only other guy in his division unbeaten in at least as many fights is ranked #1 for comparison

canelo was only a teenager in his first 30 fights and still managed to beat a future world champ in miguel vasquez, and a couple fringe contenders. there are several guys who come up in these threads who've done worse
