I have to say I was VERY dissapointed with De La Hoya vs mosley II, after all of the hype.

It was one of the most boring fights I have ever seen and I regretted buying it.

Naz v Hardy

Tyson v fat bloke from Denmark.

Most disapointing super fight I've ever seen was Trinidad/ODH - but don't think that was PPV over here..

I have bourght these PPVs (all of them showed every fight on the undercard)
Nielsen vs Tyson, 14 fights £46
Johnny Bredahl vs Naka, 9 fights £27
Kessler vs Thysse 7 fights £27
Kessler vs Siaca 11 fights £27
(I had a pirate card for Bredahl vs Guerault, 12 fights)
Kessler vs Thysse was pretty thin but it did feature some good fight to start with but first Larsen pulled out vs Brewer then Brewer pulled out vs Kessler. THe undercard for Kessler vs Siaca was pretty ordinary.

I don't think it was PPV, it wasn't such a bad fight though even if the wrong man won.

Yup, can't say it was one of my best decisions. Think it was Calzaghe v Kid "No Fire" McIntyre on the undercard.

Gave Tyson/Etiene a miss though - even I wasn't stupid enough to shell out for that one.

I would say that one was my worse PPV (Tyson vs Neilson), Klitchko vs Sanders did have Lazcano vs Castillo and it was cheaper than the norm.

Tyson vs Neilson would have been a half decent PPV if it would have shown the undercard fights in full. I mean we had a Kessler and Damngarrd fight in full, but there was a WBA Bantamweight fight on the bill and we only had selected rounds.

However, compared to US TV our PPV's offer tremendous value - they didn't even have Mercer's bout on that card.

Tyson-Etienne...lasted about a round if i remember and also the undercard was all early round blowouts...i am sure James Hare beat Frans Hantindi in one on the British section as well, a waste of time all round

Yeah Tyson-Etienne was a waste of money, only tempered by the fact I had a small bet on Tyson in the 1st...

Regarding the Tyson vs Nielsen card
In the US they showed Tyson vs Nielsen, Mercer vs Scott and Calzaghe vs McIntyre (and it was on regular showtime).
In germany they also got those 3 fights + Thomas Damgaard vs Freddy Rojas, I thourght that was the european broadcst, but if you got Kessler also Then I must be wrong.
There werent any WBA bantam fights on the card, Bredahl had a 6 rounder. There was a good WBC intl fight between Al and Baldomir, are you thinking about that.

In hour PPV they aso showed all of Tysons and all of Nielsens fights in the two days before the card as a warm up.

Wasn't Castillo vs Lazcano on the De La Hoya/Sturm undercard.

Have any of you guys fell a sleep half way through a ppv and missed the main event, I have to admit that i have it was the Hopkins Vs DLH PPV,it was a great PPV up until Juan Manuel Marquez Vs Orlando Salido it was th e most boring match, it was so bad. The worst thing about it i woke up just as they were congratulating Hopkins on his win.

I used to get them all free on Payperview as i had an illegal card, Now Foxtel has changed to digital and i have to pay so the worst i have seen is Klitshko - Sanders but the worst i didn't pay for was Tyson-Neilson or Mundine Vs any one of his early opponents.

See Hoya Run!!

Sky Box Office products for FREE!
The information below is provided for reference purposes only. It is in no way intended to motivate the receiver of this document to indulge in any illegal activity, as such would be deemed to Sky. Following the instructions is entirely up to you, the receiver of this document to use if you do so decide. It is after all your responsibility, the receiver of this document to inform Sky of your activities in connection to any of their products. To receive Sky Box Office products free of charge, simply follow the simple steps below. This process only works if the user i.e. you, subscribes to one of the Sky packages on offer. No guarantee is provided to how long this method will work, as that is dependent on if and when Sky update the software on their boxes. Remember that all instructions must be followed as shown below, otherwise this will not work, and you will end up paying anyway.
Set up Instructions:
Press the SERVICES button, then select item 4 for SYSTEM SETUP
Now press 0 followed by 1and press SELECT
You are now in a hidden menu
Select item 3 for TELEPHONE SETTINGS
In the DIALLING PREFIX box, enter in any numbers from 000 to 999
Obviously excluding any that may be actually dialled into a number such as 999, 112, 020 or even 100. Safest to use 000, 111, 222, 333, or 444.
Press SAVE
This places the above prefix before the number that the digital box dials to connect the Sky to place the relevant order.
The digital box must never stay connected to the telephone socket, apart from only the moment when you order the Box Office product.
Ordering Box Office:
Identify the product you want to watch
Connect the digital box to the phone socket.
Press SELECT to check payment information, and the normal payment information window appears.
Press SELECT.
You will now be asked to enter your pin number to confirm – disconnect the box from the phone socket.
Now, you can enter your pin number to confirm, and watch!
It looks like you have actually carried out a transaction, but in reality, you haven’t. How does this work? The box detects dial tone and takes it for granted that that’s going to be there when you confirm your purchase. Also having an invalid prefix number to be placed in front of the actual number slightly scrambles the signal, and the connection to the actual payment server never takes place. This does work and as time passes without receiving a bill for your purchases… However, do note that periodically Sky will send a signal to communicate back with the box. If the box is connected to the phone socket, then it will read any orders placed, and you will be billed. That is why it is imperative that the box is never left connected to the phone socket should you decide to go ahead and use the method described above.
There is another method also
This is a very Simple process that not even sky can prevent.
Follow this guide and you will receive free pay per view channels on sky including XXX,
sports events, and every thing that you pay for via telephone line
First up you need a 9v Battery (same as a smoke alarm battery with - and + on top)
Now Locate the Phone line connecting your Skybox to your main phone line,
this is the line that Sky provided with your Digibox
Now cut the line in half about half way down and you will see 4 wires green
, yellow, red and black
trim all 4 colours down a bit so you can see the wire inside and join the
yellow and green together
and the black and red together.
Note if you don’t have the 4 colours, the black and red and whatever the remaining
colours should be joined
Now you should have 2 wires of 2 joined together,
put red and black wire on + of battery and yellow and green on the minus -
Now plug wire into skybox whilst connected to battery and go to channel
you would like to order
Select PPV you want to watch and put in your pin number
After the movie or event orders you should then disconnect the battery or
phone wire connected to your digibox.
And that’s it, next time you want to order,
Just connect battery and order then disconnect again
If you have tried this and it didn’t work repeat these steps again as I've had
hundreds of happy customers
