How much does neck training improve KO resistance?
I was looking at a picture of a fighter today and his arms are massive, got a ripped 6 pack but his next looks skinny and weak.
I don’t box, but if I did I feel like I would want a strong neck.

Neck training helps reduce concussion risk and whiplash, so yeah, it likely improves KO resistance. Many fighters swear by it.

I've found a good way to train the Neck is to use one of them old Power-Twister/Coil gadgets.
You wrap around a Towel or something equivalent, around the Coil section, because that's what's going to be pressed against you're forehead, while you just repeadadly press away.
You can do these while seated or standing.
I remember doing this exercise every day, back when I was considerably younger, and after about a month and a half there were very noticeable results.
You really gotta stay dedicated though.
The neck is something that will grow quite a bit and fairly quick, as I found out back then, but then it slims out just as quick once you start becoming slacky with you're overall Mindset approach.
Me personally, I seem to always easily maintain interest and discipline in Grip based training, and riding bicycles, but training the Neck is a whole other realm of required discipline.
I find that my neck gets a sufficient amount of isometric exercise when I'm repping out overhead presses.
Using a power-coil Really Does further enhance Neck development but I'm 55 years old and I guess I just evolved out of that phase of wanting to have an extra thick muscular neck. Like I basically stated, it Does seem to stay a decent enough size just by way of isometric muscular contraction while I'm simply doing overhead barbell presses. An exercise which I really enjoy doing. Yeah, neck-presses with the power twister really works but I guess I just don't have quite the ambition or discipline anymore to maintain that fanatical level of desire to have and maintain a "Henry Rollins" neck.
