Either Minter used his southpaw jabs and right-left combos to out-box Pavlik to take a decision or Pavlik would cut Minter's eyes open for the late round stoppage.

Minter was a better pure boxer but Pavlik had good size, stamina and a punch and I would think at some point he'd open cuts and win by TKO9
