1. Joe Calzaghe
2. Roy Jones
3. James Toney
4. Andre Ward
5. Steve Collins

Sven Ottke, Chris Eubank, Nigel Benn would probably be closest to Collins.

I think Jones beats Calzaghe, but it's hard to argue with a guy who picked up all the belts, dominated etc; the way he did. Jones was passing through the division.

Toney didn't do a lot at Super Middle IMO.

This is probably the easiest list to do of all the weight classes. The Top 3 are obvious. The order can be debated, but the names really can't.

1. Andre Ward
2. Joe Calzaghe
3. Roy Jones Jr.
4. James Toney
5. Canelo Alvarez

The only guys that really did a lot at Super Middle are Roy, Ward and Calzaghe. That's why they're the definite Top 3. Who you pick for 4 and 5 you're just kinda splitting hairs, and lots of names can fit.

Toney being ranked over Ward is unjustifiable I must say though.

Toney and jones are two of the best fighters to hold a belt at 168 but I really don’t think either have the resume there to be considered in the top five.

If anyone else beat the same names at that weight nobody would be talking about it.
