this fight is 6 x 2.5 min rounds...

Weird how wrong that feels. they were arguing between 2 and 3 and hit 2.5, but because its not a round number it feels weird, but no real reason for it to.

Mabey womens boxing should go to 2.5s and see what they think, i understand being scared to go from 2 to 3 in one hit, 2.5s seems the logical step.

Gallen wanted three-minute rounds as he is still a conditioned pug, whereas Hodges who carries a spare tyre, wanted two-minute rounds being a retired Rugby League player who used to sneak punch half-backs and niggle on the field.

Being a 6 rounder, they split the difference. It is no longer the card's main bout but the final prelim.

Both will be taking the cash and hanging up their gloves. The prediction: although Gallen is now diminishing over due to career ring wear and tear, he should still stop Hodges within four.

Zerafa’s a wet squib, my mate beat him easily but was robbed, genuinely robbed, on the score cards by his then promoter. Zerafa’s never been in an exciting fight that wasn’t a total mismatch of Zerafa being knocked out!

Zerafa, and more so, his dad are absolute toxicity, they’ve fucked over trainer after trainer and that’s part of by his problem, his cockwhit dad, who’ve I’ve had to have a run in with in the change rooms when we had a fighter following him, and the fuckwit himself.
I had to take as is Sammy Soliman around to a few gyms to get some sparring in before the Sturm fight, I took him to spar Zerafa, Zerafa came out as if it was his last chance world title fight, trying to KO Sam, Sam soon worked out what was happening and turned the tables, Zerafa got touched up, his dad blew up on Zerafa’s trainer, they went to yet another gym and here we sre…

If your big and strong and tough you play footy... This leaves nearly zero big dudes boxing.

There are hundreds and hundreds of 220lb+ guys with 80 min fitness playing footy every week. and half of them are part islander so have that teak toughness... (footy can be rugby union, rugby leauge or even AFL... all of them have plenty of big, fit, tough, guys.).
