Charr vs. Lucas Browne Showdown Set For December 17 in Dubai

Former WBA "regular" heavyweight champs Mahmood "Manuel" Charr and Lucas Browne clash on December 17 in Dubai in an event promoted by Iconic Promotion, EC Boxing and Diamondboy Promotion.

The 43-year old Browne (31-3) looked like a spent force after losing to former rugby player Paul Gallen last year but has scored two good wins since, including a stunning stoppage of Junior Fa in his last fight.

As for Charr, 38 and 33-4, he won one of the many WBA titles around in 2017 but never got to defend and was inactive for four years before coming back last

Winner probably gets Dubois.

Would you call it an even matchup ?

Though no sense in getting excited. It looks like a very even match up.
One fighter will probably retire after this and one gets a small boost to their career.
I would not pay to see it but I would watch it if it is available on one of my streaming services I already pay for

Says a lot when the BBBofC won't sanction an opponent that would be Dubois' best win on paper, the same person that has a loss to David Allen.
