How do you think Wilder would get on against peak versions of..........

Witherspoon
Dokes
Tubbs
Bonecrusher
Pinky Thomas
Buster (vs Tyson)
Weaver
Tucker
Holmes
Spinks

My honest opinion. He either gets out boxed by everyone of these fighters.
Or he knocks them out. Wilder could not win a legit decision against any of them.
But he could knock them all out.

It really depends on his ability to get lucky enough to land that big shot

Witherspoon wins on points, unless he gets caught, which is moderately possible.

Dokes gets KOed, his t-rex hands were fast, but Wilder uses the range good enough and he's tougher.

Tubbs wins on points, unless gets caught.

Bonecrusher KOs Wilder, if gets to him earlier.

Pinky Thomas wins behind the jab, but likely gets caught.

Buster (vs Tyson) destroys Wilder.

Weaver gets KOed in the 1st.

Tucker wins on points.

Holmes outclasses Wilder.

Spinks tricks and decisions Wilder.

No hate involved at all I've come to respect Wilders power and heart after the 3rd Fury fight.
But honestly I have him losing against all these fighters unless he were to catch them clean and score a k.o.

Not a t.k.o. because I don't think he has the ability to work them over once he stuns them, but just a clean 1 punch win.

These guys fought regularly against skilled competitive(sometimes each other) opponents and knew how to fight, not just throw a bomb hoping to end it.

Witherspoon KO's Wilder in about the 5th round.

Wilder KO's Dokes in the 8th after losing the first 7 rounds.

Wilder KO's Tubbs in about the 4th

Wilder gets stops Smith in about 5 rounds

Wilder stops Pinklon Thomas inside 4

Buster dominates and stops Wilder easier than he did Tyson. Probably KO 7 or so.

Mike Weaver is a guy that would have just as good a chance at knocking out Wilder as Wilder would have of knocking out him. Depends on who gets there first. I'd favor Weaver by a little.

Tony Tucker would outbox Wilder to a lopsided decision.

Holmes could possibly have a scary moment like the Shavers rematch or get KO'd like that, but other than that, he's gonna outbox Wilder comfortably every step of the way.

Spinks would win every round until he got caught. If he manages not to get caught he wins a shutout. If he gets caught. It's over when that happens.

Almost all of them, perhaps excepting Bonecrusher would be ahead on points until they were stopped which is usually the case against Deontay.

I think Deontay would beat all of them except for Spinks, Holmes and possibly Dukes. They'd be too slick. .

All are far better than anyone that he ever beat in real life. Witherspoon, Tucker and Thomas were too skilled for him as well. Tubbs had a very chin and probably would survive the occasional bomb that Wilder might land and then not follow up on. He would have had an outside puncher's chance against most of these guys, and that's it.

Wilder would beat all 1980s guys outside of Larry Holmes and Mike Tyson. Easily.

How would Wilder fare against Holmes and Tyson? I don't know. My guess is that a prime Tyson KO's Wilder.

Concerning Holmes, keep in mind that one big guy - 6'7" Gerry Cooney - caused him a bit of trouble in 1982. Anything Cooney could do, the equally big and tall Wilder could do much better. Just something to think about.

I assume Holmes beats Wilder, but it could be a real struggle for Larry.

Holmes and 'on point' Witherspoon win for sure.......I actually think Holmes might make a fool of Wilder and win easy.
