Nedal Hussain vs. Manny Pacquiao 2000

I know this should be in history but don't @ me. This is too important to just file away.
Finally an official has admitted to rigging a fight. Can't believe it but it's true.

"Together with Padilla in a new interview that almost defies faith, confirming that yes, he did intentionally deceive Hussein, changed history, all of this by not only giving Pacquiao the longest bill, but taking other steps to thwart his loser. Australian rival.
Even worse, the referee even laughs at the fact that he looked at his compatriot so hard that he was “cross-eyed”.
“(But) I’m Filipino and everyone watching the fight is also Filipino,” Padilla said to the camera lens. “So I extended the account. I know how to do it.”
He also grinned when he said that.
Just as a well-known combat official – and a man who oversaw no less than Thrilla in Manila – would go on to say how he also had to deduct a point from Pacquiao for headbutting.
“But I declared it a blow,” he shrugged.
Which again makes a big difference considering it was the same header that hurt Hussein badly enough to see the fight end up brushed off after 10 and the Aussie trailing on all three scorecards after being himself deducted point.
So how did Hussein feel this week when his brother came across an offensive video on the internet and sent it to him seconds later?
At first, the old fighter pauses for almost as long as Padilla counts, trying to find his words.
“You know what,” he starts, “I’m, uh… ahh… buddy, I’m just shocked that he said that.”
And he said it with such arrogance.
“Such pride.
“Because of the truth about that night?”
“Since then, I have never been the same.
“This guy took everything from me.
“He took my soul.”"
Thoughts anyone?
