Hes not fought in a year but I thought he'd signed a promotional deal?

He’s signed with Probellum and isn’t retired. He is training fighters now though so getting himself a fight may not be as high priority as it was a few years back.

Probellum were planning an event at the Hydro back in August which he was due to headline, but it never came together. From what I heard it may well have been set up as a farewell fight. Based on that it's likely he wants one more to go out on in front of a home audience (although it may not materialise now), but other than I'd say he's happily finished in the ring and concentrating on being a coach. As well as working with one or two pros he is one of the main coaches for Boxing Scotland.

I hope so, but he absolutely loves the game so much I'd imagine maybe hes spoken to his family and they've said it's time to let go Ricky
