I’m glad I didn’t watch it. Sounds like what we all predicted and expected. I worry about Del’s long term health.

Did there look to be 60,000 there as said?

My stream went off in round 6 and I went to make food and checked the result 30 minutes later.
Wonderful.

gregregegg wrote: 03 Dec 2022, 18:14 That is a fornicating horrible stoppage. Its not the refs job to stop fights there.

Should the corner of pulled chisora out? probably, but thats there call, its not the refs call at that point in my opinion.
What?

Of course its the refs job to stop the fight. In fact in most jurisdictions the referee is the ONLY person who can stop the fight during a round, the corner can only stop it in between rounds. The referee does not have to accept the corner throwing the towel in.

Absolute garbage as expected, Chisora brave, took his lumps, hung around blah blah blah but barely done a thing offensively and took a beating, Fury done as he pleased, toyed with him, flicked out that slappy jab and come over with solid rights, switched southpaw occasionally, landed some big uppercuts, tied Chisora whenever up close, easy nights work, should've got a more conclusive stoppage, Chisora's corner need to have a good look at themselves, good call by the ref to stop it after a couple of meaningless shots

Fury dominates chis, but never really hurt him. Chis is timid and only really threw 2 or 3 shots with bad intentions. absolute fornicating shit show.

this fight serves as a good reminder that just because Fury has started walking fowards, he isnt a puncher.

Still big fights out there for chisora if he wants to pickle himself. Wilder, DDD, Ruiz, Ortiz, Otto, Whyte III, areola, breazeal, ortz, zhang, Fabio, Efe, huni, anderson, jalo, washington..... I would watch the fornicate out of all of them. (be a bit scared for him in with wilder).

I dont think its a refs place to stop a fight just because someones losing, when there not hurt and not under a sustained attack. think thats more the corners call. I dunno he was getting beat up so i dont hate it, but i think ref should of waited for somthing a bit more substantial to stop it. or stopped it earlier during a flurry. weird to just stop it when noones currently getting hit...

I was kidding myself that Chisora might throw one of his wild over hand rights and put Fury down for the count. Then again, there was probably more chance of me fingering the Queen Consort.
