Obviously before all the alphabet titles came about there was one champ per division. Only 8 divisions in those days too. Even if we kept all the divisions as they are now, how many UK fighters were good enough at that time to be the only belt holder at their weight?

Taylor at light-welter.
Haye at Cruiser.
Fury at Heavy.
AJ at Heavy when Fury was awol.
Perhaps Callum Smith at Super middle before Canelo joined him there.

Frampton, Jamie McDonnell and Warrington would be close depending on who the champ was at the time. Amir Khan too.

Naz might have been able to do it at featherweight for a very brief period in the late 90s, when Barrera and Morales were fighting more at 122, and JMM hadn't quite reached world level.

Easier question would be which UK fighters wouldn't have won a world title if there was one per division.

Maybe naz if the timing was right.
Prob haye and fury.
Hatton would have been demoted to plucky Brit having a go.
