I respectfully disagree. Chavez would pressure Palomino who himself was a great fighter but Chavez by close maybe split decision.

I'm leaning in favor of Palomino. He had a cannon of a left-jab and a devastating left-hook to the liver. Versatile, Palomino could shift back and forth behind boxing and slugging as necessary.
Did the 140 lbs JCC have the physical strength and power to back up a bigger guy like Palomino? I'm not so sure. JCC definitely didn't carry his strength and power with him when he moved up to 147 lbs later in his career. So I just can't picture him bulling and muscling Carlos around.
I'll say Palomino wins on points.
