Anyone know if the http://www.boxing.de channel is showing this fight tonight? I tried to look on the website but i haven't got a clue how to navigate my way to the right area If so what time does it start??

Felix Sturm stopped Bert Schenk in two rounds by the way for anyone who is interested.

Felix caught Schenk with some solid shots in the 2nd, then a right hand seemed to damage Schenk's eye, I thought it was a thumb in the eye at first, and Bert cupped both gloves over his face and turned away - Sturm hammered away and he sunk to canvas, blinking his eye and shaking his head as Dave Parris counted him out.
So ends the very protected career of Bert Schenk.

Sturm looks solid enough to take over a Maske or Ottke type role in Germany - the crowd seemed to love him. I'll predict he grabs back his vacant WBO world title in next year or so, and probably makes 15 or so defences in Germany over the next few years.

I still fell Sturm is very overrated, I have never been impressed with him. Im not so sure he is the best german middleweight, I would give Abraham and Sylvester good chances of beating him

Good call, haven't seen him yet but from what i hear Arthur Abraham is going to be a good fighter. With Abraham, Kurzawa, Sturm, Krasniqi, Wilaschek etc the new breed are already coming through

You should have watched the interview about an hour later. he wants to fight Hopkins in the States next and would like to make more fights in the US in order to become #1. let´s wait and see. regarding his offensive style it would be fair to not compare him with the twi Sauerland-guys....

sorry, knockout, i fell asleep before the Dimitrenko-match.......had a hard day and time was too long between both fights.....

the other guy is Egon Roth, another german heavyweight hope. his last fight was live on eurosport.

so we have Egon Roth vs Egon Roth. The black guy can surely only be Gary Coleman.

overall the card was pretty poor, but Universum deserve a break i guess, the D-Man v Tiozzo card was very good!!!

i woke up at 7, drove to Hamburg and spent the hole day with my little daughter and just had one glass of red wine.

I remember spending a night sleeping in my car on the autobahn when it snowed so much the whole road closed......

Göttingen/near Kassel. we have a lot of snow actually. i was scared to spend the sunday afternoon on the autobahn, but i was lucky.

Yeah I caught the interview & heard him mention Hopkins - but I doubt it'll happen somehow.
Having got Eastman out the way, I doubt BH is planning on fighting any more mere mortals - superstars only from now on you'd think.

Hopkins makes one more fight and the retires. of course not vs. Felix. Felix said the same. Hopkins fights for money vs Tarver or Johnson. these two bring him the money in the USA. he will vacate the titles. and Feilx wants to hold as much he can and therefore he has to make some fights in the USA. that doesn´t mean that he will never fight in Germany. there is also money to make over here. the purses here raise and the purses in the US are only high when there are mega-fights on PPV.

Surprise surprise Roth won on a TKO1. The little dude is Karl Evans, no listed height but we was 207lbs. Fights like that are a joke.
