Name a boxer currently fighting or within the last decade, and then compare them to a boxer from the past. Be brief with the analysis.
I'll start... Deontay Wilder is for all intents and purposes a modern version of Max Baer. Big, good hand speed, tough, and extremely reckless with power punches.

Anthony Joshua looks like a bigger and more polished version of Frank Bruno. A newer generation in the British robotics.
Oleksandr Usyk looks like the white Ali. Excellent footwork, fast hands, great jab, nice combos, zero-ish inside game and body-punching, hard chin.
Filip Hrgovic looks like a poor man's Vitali Klitschko. About the same lenghy-range-sloppy one-two thrower.
Derek Chisora looks like a poor man's Joe Frazier. Crooked bobbing-and-weaving, pressure fighting.
Terence Crawford looks like another Sugar Ray. A sublime grandmaster of the sweet science.
Shakur Stevenson looks like a new Floyd Mayweather. Pragmatic, well-schooled, technical, methodical.

Wow. I mean Wow.
Sorry for touching the object of your sexual attraction and comparing it with a modern sh1thouse, since all of them necessarily suck.

AJ is quite a few iterations beyond Frank. A far better boxer and all round fighter. But I catch your drift.
Usyk seems more tactical than Ali. Ali seemed to ad-lib more. Again though I like your thoughts.
Hrgovic puts a lot more on his shots than Vitali. VK was all about volume using arm punches to control his opponent and eventually stop them.

It's tough to give a proper mark to Hrgo's power, since he has faced only lower level opposition up to the date and failed to hurt Zhang, even after Zhang had tired.
Yeah, Ali was more fluid than Usyk, still both are strict outfighters, who rely on speed and technique.

Tank Davis is kinda like a modern Sean O Grady.
A popular fighter who ducks everyone of note out of necessity.

Nice. You are such a class act.
So when you wax on about your favorites thats OK.
This is as bad as your John Ruiz Gene Fullmer comparison.
Ali was faster on his feet, had much better hand speed, and better reflexes. Usyk has not proven at all that he has the chin of Ali. I am talking about the prime Ali; the mid-1960. Not the 1970s Ali which we usually talk about. Not saying that Usyk sucks or anything like that. He is just nowhere near Ali in his prime.

Since you don't have enough brain to figure it out yourself, instead of what you start to bring up ad hominem arguments, I'll help you to get the point.
So, even if to consider, that Usyk is worse than Ali, it's still possible to compare them in their styles. I didn't even suggested, that Usyk did all that stuff the same good, but it was enough to fire you up. Don't try to hide your sexual attraction to Ali, it's obvious, since you're ready to defend him even when he's not under attack.
And, of course, your bias isn't over with it, since you rate Usyk lower at CW than Toney, because Usyk didn't win the likes of Michael Rush, Terry McGroom and Adolpho Washington. So, it's pointless to discuss it further with such a clown.

Joe Joyce reminds me a bit of the young George Foreman when George actually would box and wasn't throwing crazy punches. Both big strong men with great punching power and solid chins, even if they weren't the fastest movers on their feet or with their hands.

Good shout. George didn't have Joe's engine. And Joe doesn't have George's punch. But they are similar in how they move and operate.

I think George Foreman had a good engine when you watch some of his earlier matches where he would go 10 Rounds without any issues or problems with people like Peralta, because his trainer and team made sure that he paced himself.
Only when he become champion and relied so much on his punching power and allowed himself to get psyched out so bad by Muhammad Ali did the conditioning issues start to become apparent.
For example George made the mistake in the 1990s when he fought Alex Stewart because he thought he could easily blow away Stewart, but when Stewart survived the early onslaught George was fighting on fumes. It really all depended on who George was fighting and whether he took them seriously as a threat or not.

I don't see how you would think he was the "white Ali" in style to the prime Ali. At all.
Not going to dignify the rest of your crap. with an answer. Grow up.

we all know there's only one man that could possibly be compared to the greatest if only in 'shades'.
no one else even deserves to be mentioned in the same sentence.
