2 Americans on U.K. soil

My question is , can you think of 2 Americans that have faced off on U.K. soil?
If so, was there a title involved. The higher profile the better.
So if they headlined that would explain the interest in the fight.

Reason I ask. The British people are understood to get behind their fighters, even to sell out stadiums. But would they do so for 2 Americans.

Due to the increase in PPV fights over the past 10-15 years. After the time of no audiences during covid.

I feel that big audiences can have a dramatic effect on the money that can be made in a event.

Fighters that have reached a certain point in their career that have an inflated price tag to their position in the sport. Why wouldn’t they try something different?

Boxing is a bigger sport in some parts of the world compared to American. I’m not saying it’s not big there. It just has bigger and more influential sports to the masses.

Take Mexico for instance. By far soccer is their most followed sports by boxing is a close second. I feel the U.K. has a similar investment in boxing. But have the financial clout to back it up.

I’m surprised that no boxing promoter has thought of this.
But I’m seriously interested if there are any valid fights, that have used in the past that warrant as a template, just to see if it has worked previously.

Your right both Americans on a Newcastle show in 1996. Box rec classes it as the headline. But I’m sure a 21-0 Naz was the real attraction
