Just seen this on social media aged 67

Whoa, wonder what was the cause? RIP Gerrie, very good fighter for a minute.

Just saw that it was an aggressive type of cancer. And they found out about a week ago. Truly tragic.

I posted on the other thread that's running ......but a darn shame it should end like that and Gerrie was a class act.
He was a huge hero in South Africa and during the grim times everyone celebrated his success.

That's quite young. Sad news.
