Louis/Schmeling I - truly pulverized the German. Busted him up bad

Frazier/Foreman I - It was incredible to watch when no one really knew the 3-1 underdog foreman. It was shocking

Lewis/Ruddock - Huge LL fan here was nervous as a cat when they squared off. I literally jumped out of my chair.

It was not really an exciting fight by any stretch of the imagination but it is completely mind-blowing to me just how much punishment Randall Cobb could actually take from arguably the best heavyweight there ever was.

Tyson vs Frazier was brutal.
Calzaghe vs Lacy

Floyd Mayweather vs Phillip Ndou is a beautiful display of Floyd at his best.

When he has a similar performance against Gatti I hated it because I love Gatti

Speaking of Gatti, I watched Gatti vs Terronn Millett several times when I first became a fan just because something about Gatti instantly hooked me to the way he fights. So I guess that one counts too.

Geez how can I forget Tua/Ruiz! Especially considering how I had nothing but disdain for Ruiz as a fighter. :yay:

Yeah that's a fun one. Due to the fact that it's so short, and so satisfying I've watched Tua vs Ruiz probably 40 or 50 times

As far as one sided fights of the 70's I think I prefer Norton-Quarry.

Frazier vs Ron Stander also has a certain bent appeal.

Larry Holmes - Marvis Frazier.

It's not a good one, but I enjoy it.

Finally someone. Im tired of this fight marked as one of best classics and whatever. It was 3 rounds of savage beatdown by Hagler. Remind me of Canelo vs Kirkland, only being more high profile and more action.

But my favorite one sided bout is probably Tua vs Ruiz. Cannot imagine what clean punch from Tua can do to average person :o

I've never really understood all the hubbub about Hagler-Hearns to be quite honest. Lots of punches thrown, lots landed, nobody hurt or any real drama until the 3rd round.

The 1st round...the best round ever according to many.

I don't even know if it's in my Top 5 of just 1st rounds.

A 3 round slugfest that is completely forgotten today, but IMO was funner than Hagler-Hearns is Charles Brewster vs Antwun Echols.

Hagler vs Hearns wasn't a one-sided beatdown. It was an all-time great fight and leave it as is.

It was. Leonard was dominating and humiliating Duran. Then Roberto quit like a petulant child. It doesn't get more one sided than a man quitting a fight for no reason and robbing the fans who had paid their hard earned money.

Maybe the reason he quit was because he was being humiliated and dominated-as you wrote.
