Think if rumours are true then Hatton, Calzaghe and Fury have all had past relationships with that particular drug and all three suffered horrendous depression as a result so I hope he gets off it sharpish.

In my experience with people I know, it depends on their mentality. Some have been on it, controlled what they have and then stopped with no real issues while others have lost control and experienced serious mental health issues, many still have problems mentally after quitting, I wasnt a cokehead but I was a big pillhead cos I went clubbing loads, loads of pot as well, woke up..skinned up erc. It took me years to get it all under control, i had serious mental health probs throughout that period in my life and it has taken me a long time to overcome it. If it wasnt for meeting my now wife i would never have gotten my degree and held a job down. She helped me to sort it. Others are not so lucky.

It's hardly heroin, as long as it's a hobby and not a habit, was on the snort myself last night, first time in about 6 months and have only took it about 3 times since covid, it's pretty shite tbf but it's good as a leveller if you've got a long day out, agree though some people get too way attached to it, I work with boys who take it at work, waste of time and money and that probably does effect your mental health

As for Brook, it's never nice seeing boxers on coke because you know they've dedicated their life to fitness and health but as long as it's a social thing and not an addiction then he's not doing harm

The drug is very easy to pick up and put down in my experience.

Was only ever recreational but i was a complete write off the next day.

My bird/daughter would be asking me to take them places the next day and i’d be in the box room with the curtains shut till 8pm chafing my yard all day.

Not a good look for a man in his late 30’s but its in the past now,dread to think how much i’ve spent on it in the past but just glad i’m away from it now.

I don’t think it’s a new thing for him.

I remember when Calzaghe got caught on the coke and he basically said he didn't care too much for it and he never had a drug problem, the press were all over it saying he was in denial etc when infact he was just being truthful unlike 99% of the celebs who get caught puffing on a joint then book themselves into the priory, patronizing bastards and an insult to real addicts

He's a grown man and a millionaire who has worked hard all of his life, and a former world champion. He should be able to enjoy a party in private without it being put in a newspaper.

Two years younger than me. Never took the stuff, but it's endemic now at certain events, venues etc. Can't stand being in company if there are too many folk taking it, just becomes boring.

The worse part is trying to go for a shite at boxing but you can't get to a bog cause of pudenda on the gear
