"Fast" Eddie Chambers (42-5, 23 KO's) will return tomorrow night in Nashville, Tennessee after a near 7 year layoff.

Chambers (age 40) will take on Corey Williams (6-13-2, 4 KO's). This is a pretty wild comeback.

ya, ed's only relevance will be as a somewhat name for guys to pad their record on . in his day he was a very handy fighter with some of the fastest hands in the division, but he was way past it even years ago now

Corey Williams is a man that needs to be banned from professional boxing because it is not a secret that many of the fights that he has had as a fighter and put on as a promoter were fixed.

How this fight is being sanctioned at all in this day and age I have no clue. I will never forget Corey Williams taking an obvious dive against Tommy Morrison and he claimed he took the dive later on because federal agents came to the event saying they would throw him and Morrison in the clink if any real punches were thrown so at the last minute instead of it being a boxing match they claimed it was a kickboxing Muay Thai fight.

Well this guy Williams is almost as low as one can go! Chambers' comeback is another big nothing.

I dunno if y'all remember Bingo Crook from this thread. Bingo Crook joined the forum on 08/10/2014 and his first post was on 11/21/2021. Still only 7 total posts. We've got another Bingo Crook on our hands.

His oponent is 44 years old, 100 lbs heavier than at the begining of his career, almost all of his losses are via KO. Some comissions should definitely look at boxing licenses of guys like this. Pathetic

eddie's career as a contender was essentially over at 30, i hadnt realized he was as young as he was when he was around

Chambers had a good career as a contennder. He gave a tough fight to Povetkin, outclassed Sam Peter and nicely exposed Dimitrenko. Eddie indeed had decent handspeed, possessed a good high guard, although lacked footwork and stamina.

In his prime he would have been a nice addition to the current scene, he could be around the top 10. Yet obviously a comeback at 40s isn't a good idea. Beating nobodies like his recent opponent gotta be maximum for the oldman.
