WBC-title Super Middle Beyer-Green on Saturday

who will win this?
both are KO punchers. Green is dangerous in the first 4 rounds. if the fight will last longer, i would give Beyer more chances.
I think Markus wins KO 6 or 7.

what the hell are you talking about? Beyer is definitely not a KO puncher. Beyer's problem is his chin. Do you remember this third class Japanese fighter flooring him with a very weak punch?
I really think that Green will destroy Beyer in rounds 2 to 4, but I am sure Don Sauerland payed judges +referee and therefore we will see a scandalous decision (draw in the first rounds, DQ, ...). That's why I will put some money on Beyer in order to make sure I am not so angry on Saturday.

the diference between the old and the "new" Beyer is that he stands up after a knockdown. and this Jap was not third class. his punch wasn´t bad and the WBC doesn´t rank a Jap #14 for being crap. Beyer also came back in the 2nd Sanavia-fight.

Beyer is a good enough puncher to knock out Green if Green shoots his load early..... He dropped Woodhall who had shown a great chin before that fight and after that fight
Green has to take a gamble...
does he risk all in going for the early knock out (if he doesnt get it Beyer will stop him late) or does he box clever and risk getting the wrong end of a home decision????
hard to call, i am still unchanged from my earlier call of Green before 5, Beyer after 5.....
BTW Did Green get stopped or outclassed by lebziak in Sydney??? anyone remember the fight????

ok, to answer my own question, Lebziak outclassed him apparently and the fight was stopped in the 4th

Green will knock him out in the early rounds. He was well on his way to doing so first time round until the dodgy DQ.

It will be interesting to see if Beyer stands his ground.

Beyer would be foolish to go toe to toe with Green.... he needs to get on his toes early and keep Green from planting his feet...
Beyer has good footwork so should use it....

I'm saying Beyer in this one. I don't believe he would have taken the rematch if he didn't think he could win.
Beyer is actually the underdog which can't be bad bearing in mind the fight's in germany. i might back him.

If you've seen the first fight I can't see how you can back Beyer to win.

Where did u get that information i watched the fight live.
Green was winning the fight into the second round when he broke his right hand, After that Lebziak took over and Green ended up with a broken nose as well as a broken hand but still finished the fight on his feet.

Bubi have you watched the Green-Lucas fight, Green paced himself for the first 4 rounds then totally flogged Lucas and stopped him in the 6th and was still fresh after the fight.

I really dont think so Bubi, Beyer was floored heavily by that Jap guy who is nowhere near the puncher Green is. All this talk of a 'new' Beyer as soon as he starts getting clobbered by Green again he'll be the same Beyer as before I think!

come on fellas, the term "jap" isnt a particularly nice one. Japanese really isnt that much of an effort is it?

Beyer went 3rd, 4th, 5th rounds without being dropped so must have been taking Greens shots better.....and the cuts must really have been affected him ..
I say if he gets through the few couple without being dropped or cut he will do ok...
I know its hard to see Beyer surviving, but imagine if fights like Tyson V holyfield or Dunstan v Thompson had been stopped in the early by a cut/Dq you would have assumed that Tyson and Dunstan would have won and cleared favoured them in a rematch

After the first 2 rounds he didn't want to fight and held a lot.

actually yes,i think most would find it offensive, but i wasnt trying to kick off mate. "Jap" holds racist connotations similar to that of the abbrev. of Pakistan. Anyways, soz for drifting off topic.
Beyer you say? I reckon hes got some tricks up his sleeve or this one and green feels like he can(or has to, because of the judges) just walk through him. This is an interesting one.

as you can see, i´m not the only one who gives Markus a KO chance. just wait and see.
