Interesting. Eddie seemed confident about matching the deal. Either Boxxer increased their offer or it could get legal.

Not sure what exactly he brings to the table , been a pro for 5 years and hardly ever fought let alone a meaningful fight.

Yeh, tbh. Boxxer have some decent cruisers.
Don’t see how any of them fights can’t be made eventually.
Hearn losing talent still.

A bit harsh.
He's got to 16-0 and some decent tests. He's now ready for a run at world level. I'm sure he wants the big fights and should get them now on Sky...

He's a really good fighter. Ive always liked him. Needs a warm up and then put him into a big fight.

No public profile due to lack of activity and lack of fan base would make him a hard sell , with his pedigree he should have been in title fights a while ago

He ducked Pascal.
I can't imagine he "ducked" Pascal ??

He’s got a bit of a Howard Eastman look about him. Excellent at lower levels but perhaps a bit too steady and methodical for world level.

Either Matchroom have managed his career badly or he doesn't have confidence in himself. He probably should have faced atleast a couple of Pascal, Yarde, Johnson, Mikhalkin, Smith or Bivol by now as he was rumoured to go against them.
He's proven he's got the skills against mid level guys but he's not been willing to prove he can also do it at the higher level so that was either down to him or Hearn.
Boxxer haven't really moved mountains with their promotion of other boxers so far, despite being on Sky, so we will see what they try and do with Buatsi.

He is talented for sure.

Interesting burn for DAZN/Eddie and his comments about nobody watching his fights on an app

Yep, and that's why it is frustrating for the fans who want to see the best face the best.

Warren was asked about Buatsi yesterday and he wasn't too impressed with him going to boxxer.
I used to rate Buatsi, but not so sure these days. It's common knowledge he didn't want Pascal or Bivol when he could have easily fought both. He is known for going on extended holidays after each fight. aka going missing.
Hopefully he moves on a bit now, but nothing so far from boxxer gives me much confidence.

Turned a £1m for Bivol I think it was.

Said he wants to be seen.. But to be fair. He's been on Sky since his debut..

That's insane.
WTF did he do that ?
He wouldn't be favourite to beat Bivol, but it's not that unlikely ! And £1m ?!
Where's he gonna get more ? and a 'good defeat' plus £1m... ?
WTAF Buatsi.

His next set of opponents should only consist of a couple of the likes of Callum Smith, Gvozdyk, Yarde, Pascal, Smith Jr, Zurdo, Azeez and Bauderlique followed by Bivol or Beterbiev. Rivera may also be an interesting one given he was robbed of a win against Jack but not established at the top to prove enough. Anything else will just continue the disappointment.

Apparently, it was over £1m. He wanted to pursue Dan Azeez instead.
“He got made an offer, which we did match, and we’ll see what we do moving forward. We’ve offered him well over a million pounds to fight Dmitry Bivol – and he turned it down.”
“That’s disappointing. We want him to fight Callum Smith or Bivol, but I think he wants to fight Dan Azeez.”
“Josh is a great fighter, and we’ll see what his future holds. I believe he can win world titles.”
“Once considered a blue chip prospect, inactivity has saw Buatsi’s career stall in recent times and it is soon approaching a full year since he has been in the ring.”
