i remember when little josh dropped zhang in the olympics, would be an okay fight but not particularly interesting tbh, is zhang supposed to be some hot shot now?

Probably the only fight he deserved to win in that tournament.

You're talking out of your bottom hole again. It must be a Joshua thread.

Fury deserved to win it in Mickey's eyes
I thought it was a commonly held view. I’m guessing you guys didn’t see his other fights?

Must admit I can’t really remember the Dychko fight that closely so might be wrong on that one. But definitely thought he lost against Savon and Camarelle.

The Dychko fight is available if you open it on youtube.

Well you can’t blame them for going with an orthodox fighter, for his comeback

Joshua would kayo Zhang. The Chinese Powah could theoretically put Joshua away, but Zhang struggled so much with Forrest and Hrgovich. If Zhang doesn't land successfully in the early rounds, AJ will do that to him a bit later.

I meant the Cuban and Italian. I’m surprised you think it ridiculous people thought he lost those.
Anyway, mags, who are your tips for the future from the ams or pre debut?

lol, when did i say it was ridiculous people think he lost to savon and camarelle? care to show me, or is this just like the 'vast majority' again where you dont actually read things properly savon shoulda got the decision, cammarelle could've gone either way, joshua clearly won over zhang and dychko.
as for promising ams, i like the look of jahmal harvey, vsevolod shumkov, julius ballo, ayabek oralbay, callum peters, emilio garcia. delicious orei also been on a nice serious of results in international tournaments, though his best will prob be in the ams
also seems like kamshybek kunkabyev seems to have aborted his pro career and returned to focusing on amateurs, which i think is a shame, as he looked excellent at cruiser in the pro fights i saw of his. there's also a belarussian who was super impressive as an am who recently turned over, 6-0 with only 2 stoppages, but good level of opposition so far and has impreessed me

Joshua doesn’t trust his chin and has struggled with southpaws. Of coarse he turned down zhang. It’s a fun fight but not a greatvmatchup for AJ with a very very dangerous first few rounds.

more pointless tittle tattle .
Joshua could only choose to fight one from a list of however many there were - so of course in effect turned the others down .
I would expect every fighter on the list or close to it to have been champing at the bit to have a go and get paid an awful lot of dosh and maybe get lucky .

I’d say Zhang is pretty much tailor-made for Joshua, would have been a much better choice for an explosive comeback tbh.

Isn't this Joyce just trying to build interest in his own fight by mentioning Joshua? Fury did similar for his fight with Chisora and I guess it worked.
