The only thing uglier than Lawrence Okolie’s boxing style.

Saw some unsavoury rumours about the Cheese and DV. Think he has or had a gambling problem too. Seems a troubled individual.

maybe youre thinking of dave allen, collapsed after a fight, black out after sparring , etc.......yet boxes on and people think he should actually fight the likes of jarrell miller

cheese isnt that beaten up and was a handier fighter, though that last loss was brutal

He also won our "most entertaining fighter" poll in 2022 :TU:
But he has taken some pretty considerable beatings along the way.

Of course I do mean his looks rather than his boxing style. And of course I’m only joking as I don’t in the least bit care that he’s not exactly a looker.

Hopefully the domestic violence rumours alluded to in this thread aren’t true tho.

Ted's had a good long rest after a punishing defeat and losing his beloved British title.

Good to see Cheeseman back on the circuit....never a dull moment with this cracking crowd pleaser around :salut:

Firstly, I hope Ted is doing well in his retirement.

Secondly, I was just looking at Adam Azims amateur record & his first listed fight, back in 2015, was against Joe Cheeseman from Southwark. That was Joe's only fight. I remember Ted was from Bermondsey which is right next door. Anyone know if they're related?

Yeah I vaguely remember the gambling rumours, stories of him blowing his entire purse for a fight before he’d even had the fight. I haven’t heard about the DV though.

I hope he stays retired, he was always a blocks punches with his face kind of fighter and the passing of time makes it a lot more likely he’ll incur some serious damage if he returns.

Domestic violence doesn’t work like that.

Any proof of this claim? Always liked him as a fighter. Limited but entertaining. Troy Williams fight was a war..... in there end Troy was just too tough and punched too hard for him.

Yes. Cba to post/ fine the link for it as I’ve worked 16 hours today but he’s a violent wife beater. No time for his ilk. Her family sorted him out.
