Charlo even said he'd fight Canelo in Mexico. lol
Now Charlo may take a break for another few years or fight one stiff per year , just to be safe for the Canelo's payday.

That is what Charlo will do.
I hope someone else comes along and causes the Canelo team to lose interest in Charlo.
When any fighter just sits on the shelf waiting for a cash cow to call their name I always hope they never get that fight.

I think Charlo and Benavidez are Canelo's backup fights if Bivol beats him again. Charlito ain't gonna risk too much this year. I doubt he'd fight Adames this year. He'd ask the wbc for a permission to take another soft fight. wbc knows very well that Canelo vs Charlo would be a good money fight and that Charlo needs to keep his 0 and his status of wbc mw champion safe and protected to sell them vs Canelo. Thats the business.
